Monocle x Graanmarkt 13 x Stad Antwerpen
November 2016 global media brand Monocle and the city of Antwerp launched a collaboration. Monocle’s December/January issue includes a special Gastronomy and Shopping Guide to Antwerp, produced in partnership with Stad Antwerpen. The guide highlights the new generation of fashion brands, coffee houses and chefs launching daring new concepts, bolstering Antwerp's reputation as a capital for food, drink and retail.
Simultaneously we welcomed Moncole at Graanmarkt 13 where the brand has taken up residence in The Store. From now on a wide range of Monocle’s core products will continuously be available, including a selection of stationary, books & city guides, home ware and accessories. All of the products cater to the Monocle readers’ tastes and that are produced by brands in which the media brand believes.
The newest editions of the magazine will -of course- also be available in The Store, as well as a special one-year subscription offer, only available at Graanmarkt 13. Monocle publishes 10 magazines a year and two new seasonal publications: The Forecast – packed with key insights into the year ahead – and The Ecapist, a summer travel-minded magazine that also delivers a dose of business ideas and global affairs.
Monocle was launched by Tyler Brûlé in 2007 as a monthly magazine briefing on global affairs, business, culture, design and much more for the global minded audience of readers.
Today Monocle is a complete media brand with a wide series of travel guides, a 24-hour radio station, a film-rich website, retail ventures around the globe and cafés in Tokyo and London. Monocle’s HQ is located in London with international offices in New York, Toronto, Istanbul, Singapore, Tokyo, Zürich and Hong Kong.
At the brand’s core is the simple belief that there will always be a place for a print label that is committed to telling fresh stories and sending photographers on assignments.
